The Godman Book was written in the early part of the 20th Century and was presented to the Church in 1930. It contains interesting historical facts about the Church and a history of the family’s involvement in the village. It includes a number of interesting anecdotes and presents a colourful record of life in Cowfold in the early 1900s.
